Pilgrimage praying for the healing of Humanity and in support of Christians living in Holy Land from Monday 19th to Tuesday 27th of August 2013

 

Depending on the size of the group and the diversity of nationalities, a roll of visits is expected to balance the number of individuals at each location. Pilgrims will gather to live with one heart the prayers times and the proposed meeting. In addition, they will pray every evening at 17:30 a rosary with Vicka IVANKOVIC-MIJATOVIC, one of the visionaries from Medjugorje (village of Bosnia-Herzgovina) who prays particularly for the healing of the sick and they will live with her at 18h40 the daily moment of apparition of Our Lady.

 

Mon 19/08 : Morning departure from PARIS, BRUXELLES or NICE airport to TEL-AVIV.  

 

Tue 20/08 : In the morning visit of Nazareth at the time of Christ including the Basilica of the Annunciation. In the early afternoon, visit of Mount Thabor where the Church commemorates the Mystery of the Transfiguration. Then meeting, prayer and Mass with the local catholic melkite rite community of MI’LYA.

 

Wed 21/08 : Morning departure for the Tiberiade lake. Mention of Jesus first miracle at CANA, then visit of the Basilica of the Multiplication of the Loaves, crossing of the lake by boat, visit of the ruins of the house of St. Peter and those of the synagogue at CAPHARNAÜM and climb to the Mount of Beatitudes.

In the afternoon, visit of the Church of the Primacy of Peter. When back to NAZARETH in the Basilica of the Annunciation, meeting with the bishop of Nazareth followed by a prayer time with the local community and Mass. After diner, travel to JERUSALEM.  

 

Thu 22/08 : Morning visit of the "Wall sanctuary", the St. Ann church and the Tower of David.

In the afternoon, free time then visit of the Sion Mount including the approximate location of the Cenacle. At St. Peter in Gallicante, prayer time recalling the Institution of the Eucharist. In the evening, Holy Hour at Gethsemani (confession possible). 

 

Fri 23/08 : Early morning visit of the City of David and of the various sanctuaries of the Mount of Olives.

In the afternoon, Stations of the Cross to the Holy Sepulcher. Upon arrival, detailed visit of the basilica of the Anastasia. Then meeting with a local personality of Jerusalem, prayer time with the locam community followed by a Mass recalling the Resurrection of Christ.

 

Sat 24/08 : Morning march to EIN KAREM (30 minutes to 1 hour crossing a shadowed forest). Recalling of the Mary’s journey when she visited her cousin Elisabeth. When arrived, visit of the St. John the Baptist church and the Visitation church. By late morning, visit the large model of Jerusalem, contemporary of Christ (1:50 model).

In the afternoon, departure for TEL-AVIV. Bay View and evocation at St. Peters Church in Jaffa, of the vision of the apostle leading to the meeting of the centurion Cornelius. Free time around, then meeting, prayer time and Mass with the local community. Departure for BETHLEHEM.

 

Sun 25/08 : Morning visit of the Field of the Shepherds followed by the opening of two days of specific encounters with Palestinian Christians with prayers and intercession for the healing of Humanity. Meeting with some personalities working to serve the Palestinian population at the Catholic University of Bethlehem.

Afternoon visit of the Church of the Nativity, meeting with the Guardian of Bethlehem, prayer time and Mass. In the evening, intercession vigil, with Eucharistic worship and confession.

 

Mon 26/08 : Morning visits with 3 rotating groups. Group 1: encounter with a Daughter of Charity, group 2: encounter with a sister of the Emmanuel melkite rite monastery, group 3: visit of the tomb of Blessed Sister Mariam at the Carmel of Bethlehem, Arab Christian mystic of the twentieth century. Discovery of her life and her message. 

 

In the afternoon, rotation of the groups to achieve all 3 meetings. When back to the Basilica of the Nativity, free time for pilgrim testimonies, praise and thanksgiving, then prayer and Mass with the local community. 

 

Tue 27/08 : In the morning, departure for ABU GOSH, one of the places where tradition places Jesus encounter with the pilgrims of Emmaus. Meeting with a local personality followed by the closing Mass and missioning.

In the afternoon transfer to the airport of LOD and flight to PARIS, BRUXELLES and NICE.
